Managing Destinations
Track where you publish content outside of traditional book markets — newsletters, blogs, serialization platforms, and other outlets.
What Destinations Are
A destination is any place you regularly publish or distribute content: your Substack newsletter, your Patreon page, your personal blog, a Medium publication, or a podcast feed. Tracking destinations helps you plan your content calendar and coordinate marketing projects.
Destinations are part of the Destinations & Projects feature. If you don't see Destinations in your sidebar under the Marketing section, your workspace administrator may need to enable it.
Viewing Your Destinations
Click Destinations in the sidebar under the Marketing section. You'll see a table showing:
- Destination name and description
- Status (Active, Paused, Archived)
- Target cadence (how often you aim to publish there)
- Number of linked tasks
Filtering Destinations
Use the filters above the table:
- Search: Type a destination name to find it
- Status: Show only Active, Paused, or Archived destinations

Tips
- Use status to manage your active outlets: Set seasonal or inactive destinations to Paused so they don't clutter your active list
- Set a target cadence: This helps you remember your publishing goals for each outlet
- Link tasks for recurring work: Create tasks like "Write newsletter issue" and link them to the destination
- Connect to projects: When running a book launch or newsletter swap, link the destination to the project to see the full picture
