Favorites

Mark important items with a star for quick access. Favorites help you quickly find the stories, publications, authors, and series you work with most often.

What You Can Favorite​

  • Stories: Your active projects, frequently referenced work, or stories you're tracking
  • Publications: Markets you submit to regularly, target publications for your work
  • Authors: Your pen names, collaborators, or authors you manage
  • Series: Multi-book projects you're actively developing

How to Use Favorites​

Adding a Favorite​

  1. Go to any list page (Stories, Publications, Contributors, or Series)
  2. Find the star icon (☆) next to any item
  3. Click the star to add it to your favorites
  4. The star turns yellow (⭐) to show it's favorited

Removing a Favorite​

  1. Find the yellow star (⭐) next to a favorited item
  2. Click it again to remove from favorites
  3. The star returns to empty (☆)

Viewing Only Favorites​

Each list page has a "Favorites Only" filter:

  1. Look for the ⭐ Favorites Only button at the top of the page (on the Contributors page it's labeled just ⭐ Favorites)
  2. Click it to show only your favorited items
  3. Click again to show all items

On the Contributors page, the button shows how many favorites you have while the filter is active. The other pages don't display a count.

Favorites Across Devices​

Your favorites sync automatically across all your devices. Set up favorites on your computer and they'll appear on your laptop, tablet, or any other device where you log in.

Favorites and Workspaces​

Each workspace has its own set of favorites. When you switch workspaces, you'll see different favorites - this keeps your work organized when you manage multiple projects or clients.

Tips for Using Favorites​

Keep it focused: Favorite only the items you access frequently. Too many favorites defeats the purpose.

Review periodically: Remove favorites for completed projects or markets you no longer target.

Use with filters: Combine the Favorites Only filter with search to quickly find specific favorited items.
